I literally trust them with my dog with my eyes closed. My dog loved being there. They gave me daily progress updates and were incredibly attentive. The training was impressive — they honestly gave me back a new dog. She is a 9lb yorkie pomeranian mix that thought she was the boss of the household. We tried training her on her own - she probably understood what we wanted sometimes but felt obedience was optional. Now she sits, stays, goes to her place, heels, goes into her crate on command (never willingly before), and comes when called. Now, my daily routine with her is much easier. I totally recommend them. One part of being a new dog owner that I didn’t anticipate being so crucial was the need to build a team around our dog to support him—and us as owners. Rescue dogs are unique and come with their own backgrounds, experiences, trauma, and personalities. Take Flight has been an integral part of the journey we’ve been on with our dog, Gatsby. We began our connection with a meet-and-greet at the facility to explore his temperament, ask questions, and meet the staff face to face. Since then, Gatsby has attended Take Flight for daycare, in-home boarding, and a board-and-train program. Both Gatsby and his humans have learned so much through Take Flight and continue together on a journey of growth. We truly feel that Take Flight is extended family for Gatsby. I’m especially thankful for the personalized option of in-home boarding, where I know Gatsby is safe and cared for when we’re out of town. Each staff member is actively involved in the dog community and committed to continued development with their own dogs. I believe Take Flight is a personal mission for Jess (the owner), and she is mindful of maintaining a small yet high-quality staff who share this same sentiment. Take Flight is also a community player, supporting others in the dog space—whether that be trainers, veterinarians, or events—which creates a very welcoming and positive vibe. Gatsby loves spending time with Payton, who is calm, patient, and kind, even when I may be running a mile a minute during drop-off. He also loves spending time with Tommy, who—along with Payton—is kind, calm, and welcoming. Their demeanor has been especially supportive for Gatsby, as he doesn’t do well around the “cold tough guy” personality that some men operate from. Gatsby also adores Cheyann and Chloe, who are always excited to see him and interact with him in a nurturing way. Jess has become a family friend and has supported us through many ups and downs, both in relation to Gatsby and in life in general, as we’ve grown into more educated, compassionate, and invested dog owners. My shitzhu Maltese mix has spent many happy hours here. He went through training and now he boards there when I am gone. They send me the absolute best pictures of the activities they have for the dogs. Take Flight Training has been amazing since we got our golden retriever puppy, Cassie, who is now a year and a half old. They have helped with training classes, boarding and grooming. Take Flight is like Cassie’s extended family. Highly recommend! I love all the staff there, I can tell they really care about the dogs. We started with and continue to work with Chloe. She comes to us or we meet at other places. She is truly gifted and has helped me so much with my mixed breed. Every session has been 100% and she checks in, making sure I have no questions and feel supported. We have also done train n play at Take Flight with Chloe which is nice so Caesar gets to socialize with other dogs that match his energy and do some training. We have also done general daycare which is structured and supervised. When we need it we will be using them for boarding. I initially called and spoke to Jess and she was so helpful and answered all my questions, was never pushy or salesy just really helpful and calming to talk to which made me feel comfortable. Hi! Caitlyn here with my 11month Rottweiler mixed with lab! We brought Jack to our trainer Chloe who is the best, and within just a month of training my boy has learned and grown so much! He’s learning the patient side of life. He’s always always willing to learn something new and here with Chloe she makes goals for him every week! For him to be always active and learning. he’s learning way faster then we could imagine. We enforce every training lesson goal at home to keep up with the training which I do recommend if your starting into this! I truly recommend take flight as a dog mom I called every trainers around in the area. TAKE FLIGHT WILL BE THE BEST U WILL EVER FIND! Take Flight dog training was a wonderful experience for myself and my companion Bentley …Jess and the entire staff were Great from drop off …to pick up and beyond ..(They continue to stay in touch )…I found them to be knowledgeable beyond compare, passionate about their work and caring as they worked to direct and re-direct Bentley away from unwanted behaviors and toward appropriate well mannered manageable behaviors…they also were great to spend time teaching me how to communicate and manage Bentley with all the new commands and manners he has learned …things are so much better as we both continue to learn and build on a solid knowledge foundation …I would highly recommend Take Flight dog training to anyone interested in having a well behaved and obedient dog…the whole experience has been truly life changing for myself and Bentley !!
