Ask yourself why your dog should value you, over the other dog across the street? Why should they pay more attention to you over the squirrel at the park? This is stage one to relationship building.

Play is so under rated. It’s what keeps things fun, and interesting regardless of what stage you are at with your dog. You don’t have to have toys to play. You can move your body and throw food if that’s what your dog likes. Stop limiting your dog by not investing in play. It’s so important! To some this video is boring, and to others it’s an art.
